NEW LOOK. SAME LAB.

A NEW CHAPTER.

For seven years, Lax Lab has been quietly redefining what real development looks like in lacrosse.

Founded in 2018 by Jules Heningburg, eight year professional lacrosse player, four time All-Star, seventh overall draft pick, second all-time points leader at Rutgers, and current ESPN lacrosse analyst

Built alongside his older brother Dylan Heningburg, national champion, former collegiate player, and assistant coach at Lawrenceville School, one of the top three high school programs in the country

Together, the brothers have trained thousands of athletes. New Jersey is home. The footprint is national. Built for families who refuse to settle.

Same Lab. Same coaches. Same standard. New look built to match the work.

The full site launches this summer.

GET IN THE LAB

Logo's changing, the commitment remains the same. Our focus has always been right here.

INSIDE THE LAB

Lax Lab is redefining the standard in lacrosse: a training and development ecosystem built for the families who expect more, and the players who deserve it.

We coach, train, and mentor athletes from our New Jersey base, with a national footprint spanning Connecticut, Philadelphia, and beyond. Seven years in, the Lab has grown into something bigger than any one program. The full ecosystem, all under one roof.

Tap any program below to learn more. Full registration and details launch with the new site.

  • Weekly group training across our home regions. Built for players 3rd grade through college, with every session segmented by age, gender, skill level, and position. Drop in for a session or commit to a full season.

Current locations include Metuchen, Florham Park, and Wayne in New Jersey, STM Fieldhouse in Connecticut, and Bucks County in Philadelphia.

Email info@thelaxlab.com with your name, graduation year, club/skill level and location you are interested in for now.

Full registration opens with the new site. Families with K through 2nd graders, see Academy below for the right entry point.

  • One on one work with the people who built the Lab. Personalized, position specific, results focused.

Hosted across all of our facilities and bookable in advance or weekly through text on our business line. Privates are how we develop some of our deepest relationships with our athletes and lean into all of the nuances and details we otherwise can not get to in group settings.

Full booking flow launches with the new site. For now, text “Privates” to 9733557773 and we will get you booked (Connecticut, Philly and NJ).

  • This fall, we're launching Lax Lab Academy, a structured, club-neutral, year-round development program for K–8th-grade players. July 13/14 Camp is your chance to meet our staff, have fun, and see what Academy and the Lab are all about. Academy meets each player where they are: K–2 is foundations, fundamentals, and fun. 3–4 ramps up with more competitive play. 5–8 sharpens the focus, preparing players for their next level, with opportunities to compete on the National Team.

Same curriculum, same staff, one system across each band of players.

    • Off the field is its own focus, as players get age-calibrated mentorship, and families get real guidance navigating everything alongside us.

    • Every part of a player's development happens in one place, year-round. No more piecing it together across different coaches and one-off clinics, or club being the only option for development.

    • Academy supports players in club, out of club, or in between, with a focus on fun, growth, and community. Players are grouped by age and skill, and developed inside a curriculum built to maximize their growth.

This isn't volunteer parents on the field (we love our volunteers!). This is professional, curriculum-driven training from a brand families already trust, delivered by the top staff in NJ.

Built for the player who wants more than a once a week practice in the summer, and for the family who wants real structure and guidance around their kid's lacrosse journey.

See Below for Intro to Academy Camp.

Membership model, with accessible prices and schedule releasing in June with full site launch.  Based in Florham Park and Surrounding Towns.

  • For the devoted athlete and family seeking more than just training. Lax Lab Mentorship is direct 1 on 1 guidance through zoom calls, text, and phone with your mentor.

Film development, training regimens, recruiting guidance, leadership development, mental performance, and navigating the lacrosse landscape from 5th grade all the way through college. The full Lax Lab playbook, delivered with the attention every player deserves.

Structured by grade so the support meets you where you are. 5th through 7th focuses on building the foundation and mindset. 8th through 9th sets goals and starts recruiting prep. 10th grade preps for high school competition and the recruiting summer. 11th through 12th maps the next chapter and grows leadership.

Built for the athlete ready to put the work in and the family that wants honest guidance every step of the way.

Apply through the full site at launch, or reach out at info@thelaxlab.com to start the conversation.

  • Immersive experiences with Lax Lab coaches, pro players, and college coaches. Camps. Clinics. Showcases. Built to maximize every minute on the field.

More events drop with the full site.

  • If your club, rec program, or high school team wants Lax Lab on the ground with you, we travel.

We've worked with programs nationwide and built custom training, clinics, and consulting that fit any roster, any level, any region. Same Lab philosophy. Same standard. On your home field.

THE LAB TECHS

Lax Lab was founded by two brothers and built by a staff that shares one standard. These are the people who show up, hold the line, and develop every athlete who gets in the Lab.
